Battersea Power Station

Battersea Power Station

During its prime, Battersea Power Station played a crucial role by providing a remarkable 20% of London's electricity. However, as the years passed, it fell into a state of disrepair, with the battersea power station roof crumbling and the station lying derelict for decades. But today, a captivating transformation has taken place, and this iconic landmark has been given new life, welcoming the public as one of London's most thrilling and cutting-edge destinations.

Once a powerhouse that fueled the city, Battersea Power Station has embraced a remarkable reinvention, offering an exciting space for people to gather, explore, and enjoy. As the very same structure that once energized the bustling activities of eating, drinking, shopping, and playing in the City, it now stands as a venue for the next generation to relish in similar experiences, such as visiting Battersea Power Station restaurants, Battersea Power Station shops, and even the ice rink battersea power station!

With its storied past and revitalised present, Battersea Power Station has become a symbol of renewal and evolution, where the legacy of empowering London continues through the enjoyment and engagement of its people. Waterscapes is proud to be part of this revitalisation!

Our contribution to this revitalisation began with the design and installation of a state-of-the-art roof and podium landscape irrigation system at Battersea Power Station’s Turbine Halls A & B, Boiler House, Lightwells, and the Communal Courtyard.

Our experienced Waterscapes team has a proven track record in delivering irrigation systems that complement the architectural beauty of historical landmarks like Battersea Power Station while ensuring maximum efficiency and sustainability.

Through meticulous planning and innovative design, we created an irrigation system that optimally distributes water to the green spaces on the roofs, podiums, and courtyards. Our goal was to promote plant health, conserve water resources, and reduce maintenance efforts.

As we understand the importance of preserving the heritage and aesthetics of Battersea Power Station, our installation will seamlessly integrate into the surroundings, minimising visual impact while maximising the benefits. Explore the allure of Battersea power ice rink, and all it has to offer!
